Redskins Signing CB Chris Culliver To A Four-Year, $32M Deal

Update:

The Redskins have announced the signing of CB Chris Culliver.

———–

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Redskins are signing former 49ers CB Chris Culliver to a four-year deal.

  • Rand Getlin reports that Culliver receives a four-year, $32 million contract from the Redskins.

Previous reports had said that Culliver was likely to be one of the most sought after cornerbacks in this year’s market, but there had been a limited amount of buzz in recent days.

Culliver figures to be a solid addition for the Redskins, who could really use another cornerback in their secondary.

Culliver, 26, recorded 45 tackles, four interceptions, a forced fumble, a recovery, a defensive touchdown and 15 pass defenses for the 49ers in 2014. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 14 cornerback out of 108 qualifying players.

We had Culliver listed as the No. 45 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
