Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that free agent DE Tyson Jackson is generating “an impressive amount of interest” in recent days
- Rapoport mentions that the Dolphins, Browns and Falcons all have interest in Jackson as of now.
- Rapoport adds that Chiefs are still in on Jackson as well.
The Texans have also been mentioned as a speculative option given that Romeo Crennel is running their defense.
Jackson, 27, will be an unrestricted free agent in a matter days and should have a decent market for his services. The Chiefs got Jackson to restructure his contract and until reduce his pay by $10 million last year. He still made a base salary of $4.2 million.
Jackson totaled 33 tackles and four sacks over the course 15 games last season. He was rated as the No. 14 defensive end in a 3-4 system, according to Pro Football Focus.
