Report: “Mutual Interest” Between Seahawks & Jermichael Finley

 

Ian Rapoport reports that free agent TE Jermichael Finley is leaving Seattle Thursday, but there is “mutual interest” between the two parties.

• Rapoport adds that they are still waiting for Finley to be cleared medically.

Finley, 26, has already made it known that he has no intention of taking a reduced salary, despite concerns regarding his future health, but with a decent amount of interest, there is chance he could do better than I would have expected a few months ago.

We have Finley tentatively listed as the No. 41 player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.

Ian Rapoport reports that Packers free agent TE Jermichael Finley is visiting with the Seahawks.

Finley’s agent, Blake Baratz, also said that the doctor who performed Finley’s fusion surgery believes he will have a “99.9%” chance of a full recovery.
