Report: Ravens Re-Sign LB Daryl Smith

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Ravens and LB Daryl Smith have reached agreement on a four-year deal.

  • According to Schefter, Smith receives a four-year, $16.1 million contract.

Smith, 31, has done enough this season to warrant a multi-year contract after he signed just a one-year deal worth $1.125 million last year.

In 2013, Smith totaled 123 tackles, five sacks, two inceptions — one was returned for a touchdown — and two forced fumbles. Pro Football Focus has Smith rated as the No. 15 inside linebacker in the league last year.

We have him listed as the No. 44 player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
