Report: Seahawks Sign CB Phillip Adams

 

Ian Rapoport reports that the Seattle Seahawks have signed CB Phillip Adams to a one-year contract.

Adams, 25, was drafted in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He has spent the past two years with the Oakland Raiders.

Last year, Adams appeared in all 16 games for Oakland and totaled 30 tackles and fumble recovery. According to Pro Football Focus, Adams played just 348 snaps and was well below average in coverage.
