Rookie LB Austin Calitro Working Out For Falcons After Meeting With Chiefs

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that rookie free agent LBĀ Austin Calitro worked out for the Chiefs on Wednesday and is doing the same for the Falcons Thursday.

Calitro, 23, wound up signing on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Villanova shortly after this year’s draft. Unfortunately, he lasted just a few weeks in New York before he was placed on waivers.

During his college career at Villanova, Calitro recorded 219 tackles, 8.5 sacks, 26 tackles for a loss, three forced fumbles, two interceptions and eight pass defenses over the course of 47 games.
