Saints Hosting CB Alfonzo Dennard For A Workout

Josina Anderson of ESPN reports that the Saints are hosting free agent CB Alfonzo Dennard for a workout on Thursday.

Dennard, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Patriots back in 2012. He spent three years in New England before he was placed on waivers shortly after this year’s draft.

The Cardinals wound up claiming him off of waivers, but his time in Arizona was short lived, as he was once again waived last week.

In 2014, Dennard appeared in six games for the Patriots and record 15 tackles, one interception and a pass defense.
