The New Orleans Saints have placed CB Johnson Bademosi on injured reserve Monday, according to Nick Underhill.
Bademosi opened training camp on the active/PUP list before being activated a few weeks ago.
Bademosi, 29, signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford back in 2012. He managed to make their 53-man roster in each of his first three years in the NFL and was brought back on a one-year restricted deal.
The Lions later signed him to a two-year contract in 2016 before trading him to the Patriots for a 2019 sixth-round pick in 2017.
Bademosi played out the final year of his two-year, $4.5 million contract and signed with the Texans on a two-year, $6.25 million contract in 2018. The Texans traded him to Miami in the last year of his deal as part of the Laremy Tunsil deal but he was released midseason by the Dolphins.
Bademosi finished the 2019 season with the Saints on injured reserve before returning to New Orleans in April.
In 2019, Bademosi appeared in four games for the Dolphins and six games for the Saints, recording six total tackles.
