Saints Sign DB Justin Hardee To Practice Squad

Nick Underhill of the Advocate reports that the Saints have signed DB Justin Hardee to their practice squad on Thursday.

The Saints’ practice squad now consists of:

5. LB Adam Bighill
6. TE Garrett Griffin
7. DE Alex Jenkins (International)
8. G Landon Turner
9. WR Max McCaffrey

11. DB Justin Hardee

Hardee, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Texans cut him loose last weekend.

During his college career, Hardy actually played receiver and caught 72 passes for 841 yards receiving and one touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 40 games.
