Joel A. Erickson of the Advocate reports that the Saints have signed rookie DB Jamal Golden to a contract on Wednesday.
Golden wound up going undrafted out of Georgia Tech back in May, so this will be his first opportunity with an NFL team.
During his five-year college career at Georgia Tech, Golden recorded 169 tackles, 6.5 tackles for a loss, four forced fumbles, a recovery, 10 interceptions and eight pass defenses.
