Saints Worked Out Four Defensive Linemen

Field Yates reports that the New Orleans Saints brought in three defensive linemen for workouts this week, including DT Tyrunn Walker, DE Jarvis Jenkins, DT Chris Okoye, and DT Sealver Siliga.

Of this group, the Saints signed Walker to their roster.

Siliga, 28, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Utah back in 2011. He lasted just a few months in San Francisco before he was waived and later signed to the Broncos’ practice squad.

Siliga lasted over a year with the Broncos before he was traded to the Seahawks for the 2013 season. He had a brief stint with the Patriots before returning to Seattle in 2016.

The Buccaneers claimed Siliga off of waivers in November of last year and he finished out the year in Tampa Bay. He signed on with the Jaguars back in August but was among their final roster cuts.

In 2017, Siliga appeared in eight games for the Buccaneers and recorded eight tackles and no sacks.
