Its rare that we post something on a player like Sam Hurd who hasn’t been a factor for the Bears this the season.
The Dallas Morning News reports that Hurd was arrested for trying to purchase cocaine from a supplier in Dallas.
Hurd is accused of trying to distribute some where around 500 grams of cocaine.
The Bears have responded to the situation by releasing a statement.
“We are aware of Sam’s arrest and are continuing to gather details surrounding it. We are disappointed whenever these circumstances arise. We will deal with them appropriately once we have all the information.”
This is likely the end for Sam Hurd’s time in the NFL
