Seahawks CB Brandon Browner Being Investigated For Alleged Assault

TMZ is reporting that Seahawks CB Brandon Browner is being investigated for an alleged assault of the father of his child’s mother.

A police report says a man claims Browner attacked him at an L.A. County home. Police were reportedly called to a residence around 8 PM on Tuesday to respond to an incident in which Browner allegedly attacked the man.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that the alleged victim claims he had been arguing with Browner when he became violent and attacked him in the driveway.

According to TMZ, Browner left the scene in his white Bentley before cops arrived and the alleged victim filed a police report and complained about an injury to his hand.

Browner, 31, was in the second year of his three-year, $15 million contract that included $7.75 million guaranteed with the Saints and was set to make a base salary of $2.75 million in 2016 when he was cut loose several months ago.

The Seahawks wound up signing him to a one-year, $760,000 contract in April.

In 2015, Browner appeared in all 16 games and recorded 76 tackles, one interception, a fumble recovery and 10 pass defenses for the Saints. Pro Football Focus rated him as their last place cornerback out of 111 qualifying players from last season.
