Seahawks In The Mix To Draft Quarterback Tonight

Daniel Jeremiah mentioned during an appearance on the Rich Eisen Show that the Seahawks are in the mix to draft a quarterback at some point in either the second or third round of the draft.

According to Ian Rapoport, the Seahawks would have considered taking Texas Tech QB Patrick Mahomes in round one if he was still available to them later on.

Seattle has six picks in the second and third rounds to work with, so they could easily afford to use one of their upcoming picks on a quarterback to backup Russell Wilson.

The Seahawks have question marks about their quarterback situation after Trevone Boykin was arrested this offseason.

The best available quarterbacks include DeShone Kizer, Davis Webb, Nathan Peterman, Joshua Dobbs and Brad Kaaya.

We’ll have more regarding the Seahawks possibly taking a quarterback as the news is available.
