Seahawks Re-Sign OL Lemuel Jeanpierre

The Seattle Seahawks re-signed OL Lemuel Jeanpierre on Monday, according to Howard Balzer.

Jeanpierre, 26, originally signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina back in 2010. However, he was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason was placed on waivers.

The Seahawks later signed him to their practice squad before adding him to their active roster in January of 2011. Last year, the Seahawks gave Jeanpierre a one-year extension.

In 2014, Jeanpierre appeared in six games for the Seahawks and played a total of 227 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus. Although, he had a poor rating overall, due to his struggles as a run-blocker.
