Seahawks Sign DT Joey Ivie & TE Je’Ron Hamm, Cut Two

The Seattle Seahawks announced Monday that they’ve signed TE Je’Ron Hamm and DT Joey Ivie and waived DT Lord Adusei-Hyeamang and FB Khalid Hill (injured).

Should Hill clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the Seahawks’ injured serve list.

Ivie, 23, is a former seventh-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2017. He was waived at the start of the regular season and later signed to the Falcons’ practice squad.

Atlanta brought Ivie back on a futures contract this past January but elected to cut him loose in June with an injury settlement.

During his four-year college career at Florida, Ivie recorded 69 tackles, 10 tackles for a loss, seven sacks, two forced fumbles, and a pass defense over the course of 26 games.

Hyeamang, 21, wound up signing on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Columbia back in May. However, he lasted just a few days in New York before the team waived.

The Seahawks just signed Hyeamang to a contract a few days ago.

During his four-year college career, Hyeamang recorded 76 tackles, 15 tackles for a loss, two forced fumbles, a recovery and 4.5 sacks over the course of 39 games.
