According to Howard Balzer, the Seattle Seahawks brought in veteran P Jeff Locke for a tryout on Wednesday.
Seattle also worked out K Jason Myers and signed him to a contract following the session, so it’s clear that they’re looking to add some competition this offseason.
Locked worked out for a number of teams during the season including the Bears, Broncos, Jaguars and 49ers.
Locke, 28, if a former fifth-round pick by the Vikings in the 2013 NFL Draft. He finished his four-year rookie contract with Minnesota before signing a two-year, $3.45 million deal with $1.25 million in guaranteed with the Colts last year.
Unfortunately, the Colts cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed on with the Lions for a short stint.
In 2017, Locke has appeared in five games for the Lions and totaled 1,140 punt yards on 27 attempts (42.22 YPA).
