Seahawks Worked Out QB Brad Sorensen

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Seahawks brought in QB Brad Sorensen for a workout on Monday.

Many expected the Seahawks to bring in some help at quarterback, considering that they have Trevone Boykin and Jake Heaps backing up Russell Wilson.

Sorensen, 28, is a former seventh-round pick of the Chargers back in 2013. He was waived at the start of the 2014 season and later signed by the Titans to their practice squad.

However, he lasted less than a week in Tennessee before later returning to the Chargers at the end of the 2014 season.

San Diego elected to bring Sorensen back on a future/reserve contract in January. However, he was later waived with a non-football injury designation in April.

Sorensen has yet to appear in an NFL game.
