Sprained Knee “Isn’t Expected To Sideline” Haloti Ngata

Ravens defensive lineman Haloti Ngata “isn’t expected to sidelined,” him following a sprained knee he suffered in Sunday’s win over the Cowboys, according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun.

Ngata is awaiting a second opinion, but all signs are pointing to him playing Sunday against the Texans. He was able to play through the injury Sunday, which is another indication that it wasn’t a serious sprain. The Ravens defense will need Ngata in big way as the season moves forward, considering that they have lost corner back Lardarius Webb for the year and it appears linebacker Ray Lewis could also be out for an extended period of time.
