The Pittsburgh Steelers claimed TE Ray Hamilton off of waivers from the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday.
- Pittsburgh also waived/injured TE Rob Blanchflower.
Hamilton, 22, wound up signing on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa back in May. He was unfortunately waived to make room for TE Brandon Barden, who was signed to the Cowboys’ roster earlier in the week.
During his four years at Iowa, Hamilton caught 29 passes for 305 yards receiving and three touchdowns.
