Steelers QB Mason Rudolph Taken To Locker Room

TSteelers QB Mason Rudolph took a big hit from Ravens S Earl Thomas during Sunday’s game and was knocked out on the play before hitting his head on the ground.

He was later taken off the field with the assistance of the training staff. The good news is that Rudolph was able to walk while being supported by trainers and was communicating before heading into the locker room for further evaluation.

To no surprise, the Steelers have already ruled out Rudolph with a concussion. He has been replaced by rookie QB Delvin Hodges

Rudolph has been filling in for Ben Roethlisberger as the Steelers’ starting quarterback.

Rudolph, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Steelers back in 2018. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $3,921,866 contract and stands to make base salaries of $658,267 and $836,554 over the next two years of the deal.

Entering today’s game, Rudolph has appeared in three games and completed 67.6 percent of his passes for 515 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions.

We’ll have more regarding Rudolph as the news is available.
