Steelers Sign OL B.J. Finney To One-Year Extension

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Friday that they’ve signed OL B.J. Finney to a one-year extension.

Finney, 26, wound up signing on with the Steeler as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State back in 2015. He wound up being waived at the start of the 2015 season and later signed to the Steelers’ practice squad.

Pittsburgh brought Finney back on a futures contract for the 2016 season and he managed to make the 53-man roster each of the past two years.

Finney was set to be an exclusive rights free agent next month.

In 2017, Finney appeared in 14 games for the Steelers and played 235 total snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
