The Pittsburgh Steelers officially waived LB Tyriq McCord from the injured reserve list on Thursday.
McCord wound up going undrafted out of Miami a few months ago, but wound up signing on with the Steelers in earlier June. Unfortunately, Pittsburgh waived him with the injury designation shortly after he signed with the team. After clearing waivers, McCord reverted to their injured reserve list.
During his college career at Miami, McCord recorded 95 tackles, 18.5 tackles for a loss, three interceptions, five forced fumbles, two recoveries and five pass defenses.
