According to Aaron Wilson, Texans ILB Brian Cushing has been officially reinstated by the NFL after serving a 10-game suspension for violating the league’s PED policy.
Cushing, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Texans back in 2009. He’s currently in the fourth year of his six-year, $55.643 million contract that includes $21 million guaranteed and stands to make base salaries of $5.5 million and $7.25 million over the next two years of the agreement.
Cushing’s 10 game suspension cost him over $4 million from his contract.
This season, Cushing has appeared in one game and recorded three tackles and no sacks for the Texans.
