Texans “Poking Around” In Trade Market For Veteran Cornerback

Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports reports that the Texans have been “poking around” in the veteran cornerback market for potential trade additions.

Robinson says that the Texans “definitely want to make pick up something there.”

Houston could use help at the cornerback position, even after signing Bradley Roby in free agency. As of now, the Texans’ cornerbacks consist of Roby, Aaron Colvin, Johnathan Joseph, and Briean Boddy-Calhoun among others.

For what it’s worth, some notable cornerbacks who have been mentioned as possible trade options this offseason include Patrick Peterson, Chris Harris, Xavier Rhodes and Trae Waynes

Many expect the Texans to address their offensive line in round one, but it’s possible they could turn their attention to the cornerback position, depending on how things play out tonight and in the middle rounds.

We’ll have more regarding the Texans as the news is available.
