Texans Rookie S K.J. Dillon Out For Season With Torn ACL

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that Texans rookie safety K.J. Dillon suffered a torn ACL during Sunday night’s win over the Colts.

This injury will obviously cost Dillon the remainder of the 2016 season and lead to him being placed on injured reserve in the coming days.

Dillon, 22, was taken in the fifth round of this year’s draft. He’s signed a four-year, $2.798 million contract that includes a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season.

In 2016, Dillon appeared in five games and recorded five tackles and no interceptions for the Texans.
