According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, Texans WR Will Fuller is expected to miss several weeks with a “significant” hamstring pull.
Fuller injured his hamstring in Sunday’s game against the Colts.
Fuller, 25, is a former first-round pick of the Texans back in 2016. He was entering the final year of his four-year, $10.164 million contract and stood to make a base salary of $1.83 million for the 2019 season when the Texans exercised his fifth-year option this offseason.
This will cost the Texans around $10.1 million, but is guaranteed for injury only and won’t prevent them from working on an extension over the next year.
In 2019, Fuller has appeared in seven games for the Texans and caught 34 passes for 450 yards and three touchdowns.
