Texas A&M DT Justin Madubuike Meeting With Nine Teams

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle notes that Texas A&M DT Justin Madubuike has been in high demand and is under heavy consideration to be a first-round draft choice after a strong performance at the NFL Combine.

Madubuike had multiple visits and private workouts scheduled prior to the NFL restrictions which came in early March. However, he was still was able to visit the Titans before the cut-off date.

Madubuike also had visits scheduled with the Texans, Ravens, Vikings, Raiders, Eagles,  Bengals, Rams and 49ers. Instead of having those visits, Madubuike replaced them with several video conferences that will take place prior to the draft.

Madubuike, 22, is considered by many draft experts to be one of the top defensive tackle prospects in this year’s class.

Dane Brugler has Madubuike rated as his No. 49 overall prospect.

Lance Zierlein compares Madubuike to Davon Godchaux.

During his three-year career at Texas A&M, Madubuike appeared in 34 games and recorded 105 tackles, 11 sacks, one interception, and five forced fumbles.
