The Tennessean’s Jim Wyatt reports that Titans Center Eugene Amano is out for the season with a torn triceps.
Amano had suffered the injury on Thursday’s practice and after yesterday’s MRI. Its been reported that he is out for the rest of the season.
Amano, who has been the Titans starter since 2008, had a terrible year in 2011 and was considered in the Top 5 “Worst Centers Of The Season”.
With the news of Amano’s injury, the Center position will be up for grabs between Fernando Velasco, Kevin Matthews and rookie William Vlachos, although the team will be on the lookout for a veteran.
