Titans Re-Sign K Ryan Succop To A Three-Year Deal

Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that the Titans have agreed to a new three-year contract with K Ryan Succop.

  • Wyatt adds that Succop will make an average of $2.4 million per year.

Recent reports had said that the Titans were working to get Succop under contract, so this really isn’t a huge surprise.

Succop, 28, was released by the Chiefs right before the start of the 2014 season after they elected to go with the cheaper option in undrafted rookie Cairo Santos. However, it didn’t take Succop long to find another opportunity as the Titans signed him to a one-year just a few days later.

Last year, Succop converted 86.4 percent of his field goal attempts (19 of 22), which included him making both attempts from 50 yards or more. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 23 kicker out of 57 qualifying players.
