Titans Sign Six, Waive Four

The Titans announced Monday they’ve signed six players, including WR Cody Hollister, Iowa TE Parker Hesse, Chattanooga DB Kareem Orr, Chattanooga WR Joe Parker and Iowa State DB D’Andre Payne.

The Titans also waived four players, including Boston College DB Taj-Amir Torres, Indiana DB Jonathan Crawford, Purdue WR Isaac Zito and Boston College DB Hamp Cheevers, who was waived with an injury designation.

Hollister’s twin brother is TE Jacob Hollister, who the Patriots recently traded to the Seahawks.

Hollister, 25, wound up signing on with the Patriots back in 2017 as an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas. He agreed to a three-year contract, but was waived coming out of the preseason.

The Patriots later signed Hollister to their practice squad and brought him back on a futures contract last year. However, he was once again waived, this time with a non-football injury designation.

During his college career at Arkansas, Hollister caught 27 passes for 342 yards receiving and one touchdown. He also rushed for 48 yards on two carries and scored a touchdown over the course of three seasons and 15 games.
