Titans Waive NT Antwaun Woods From IR With Settlement

The Tennessee Titans officially waived NT Antwaun Woods from injured reserve with a settlement on Tuesday.

Woods, 25, wound up signing on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of USC back in 2016. He was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason during his rookie season before later being signed to the Titans’ practice squad soon after.

Since then, Woods has been on and off of the Titans’ practice squad over his first two years in the NFL. Tennessee brought Woods back on a futures contract this past January before waiving him with an injury designation last week and he later reverted to injured reserve.

In 2016, Woods appeared in one game and recorded three tackles and no sacks.

During his college career at USC, Woods recorded 111 tackles, 13.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and two pass defenses.
