Todd Haley Interested In Cardinals’ Offensive Coordinator Job

Mike Jurecki spoke to former Steelers OC Todd Haley, who said that he plans to wait for the right opportunity to surface.

Haley added that he currently has some options available, but he would be interested in the Cardinals’ offensive coordinator job should Arizona be interested in hiring him.

The Steelers made the decision to not renew Haley’s contract a few days ago and promote QBs coach Randy Fichtner to offensive coordinator.

Since then, Haley has come up as a potential option for the Jets and Browns’ offensive coordinator jobs. Though, neither team has scheduled an interview up to this point.

The Cardinals could pair Haley with one of their head coaching candidates such as Panthers DC Steve Wilks, DC James Bettcher, Falcons STs coach Keith Armstrong, Eagles DC Jim Schwartz, or Patriots LBs coach Brian Flores.

Haley, 50, began his NFL career with the Jets as a scouting assistant back in 1995. He has worked for a number of teams including the Bears, Cowboys and Chiefs before joining the Steelers as their offensive coordinator in 2012.

In 2017, the Steelers’ offense ranked No. 3 in total yards, No. 8 in points scored, No. 20 in rushing yards and No. 3 in passing yards under Haley.

We’ll have more regarding Haley as the news is available.
