Adam Schefter reports that the Browns have traded rookie QB David Blough to the Lions with the two teams swapping seventh-round picks in 2022.
The Lions have clearly been on the lookout for backup quarterback help and it appears as though they settled on a trade for Blough.
Blough, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Purdue back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Browns.
During his college career at Purdue, Blough threw for 9,734 yards while completing 61 percent of his passes to go along with 69 touchdowns and 43 interceptions over the course of 44 games.
