TRADE: Colts Trade DL Henry Anderson To Jets

The Indianapolis Colts announced Saturday that they’ve traded DL Henry Anderson to the Jets for a seventh-round pick.

Anderson, 26, was taken in the third round of the 2015 NFL draft. He is entering the final year of a four-year, $2,937,176 rookie contract and stands to make a base salary of $719,500 for the 2018 season.

Unfortunately, Anderson’s rookie season ended after he suffered an ACL tear and was subsequently placed on season-ending injured reserve. In 2016, he was activated from the PUP list and appeared in 11 games for the Colts.

Last year, Anderson appeared in nine games and recorded 22 tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble for the Colts’ defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 38 interior defender out of 117 qualifying players.
