Trade Details: Packers Trade Up To Select Utah State QB Jordan Love

The Packers agreed to a trade with the Dolphins to move up and select Utah State QB Jordan Love in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Here’s the trade breakdown:

Packers

  • Utah State QB Jordan Love

Dolphins

  • No. 30
  • No. 136

Love, 21, was an interesting prospect to track throughout the draft process, as some felt he could remain in college and possibly transfer to another school to improve his draft stock.

He was considered one of the top quarterbacks available in the 2020 NFL Draft due to his arm strength. Lance Zeirlien compares him to Blake Bortles

During his three-year college career at Utah State, Love threw for 8,600 yards while completing 61.2 percent of his passes to go along with 60 touchdowns and 29 interceptions over the course of 38 games. He also rushed for 403 yards and nine touchdowns.
