Trent Richardson Ahead Of Schedule Following Knee Scope

Cleveland Browns head coach Pat Shurmur mentioned that rookie RB Trent Richardson has been making solid progress, following a recent knee scope, per Nate Ulrich.

Shurmur adds that Richardson may even be ahead of schedule and expect him to be back in the near future.

This is obviously great news for the Browns, as Richardson is expected to be a focal point of their offense. Cleveland will almost certainly hold him out of their preseason games as a precautionary measure. Even upon returning, the Browns may limit his workload to ensure that he’s fully healthy.
