Update On Joe Flacco Contract Negotiations

According to the NFL Network, representatives for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco traded contract proposals with the Ravens.

Flacco is entering the final year of his rookie contract, having compiled a 44-20 record as Baltimore’s starting quarterback. He has won more games in his first four years in the NFL than any other quarterback in history.

The Ravens placed the franchise tag on running back Ray Rice, who has voiced his discontentment regarding his contract situation. They agreed to a six-year, $50 million contract with cornerback Lardarius Webb on Thursday.

Owner Steve Bisciotti stressed the importance of reaching deals with Flacco and Rice as soon as possible in March.
