Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press reports that the Vikings are re-signing CB Tre Roberson to their practice squad on Tuesday. The Vikings waived G Isame Faciane to free up a spot for Roberson.
The Vikings’ practice squad now consists of:
- RB CJ Ham
- DT Toby Johnson
- WR Moritz Boehringer
- QB Joel Stave
- TE Kyle Carter
- DE Stephen Weatherly
- CB Tre Roberson
- WR Isaac Fruechte
- G Sean Hickey
- TE Brian Leonhardt
Roberson, 23, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois State back in May. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to their practice squad.
However, Minnesota cut him loose a few weeks ago.
Roberson has yet to appear in an NFL game.
