Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph Expected To Miss 4-6 Weeks With A Broken Foot

The Minnesota Vikings announced on Monday that TE Kyle Rudolph has sustained a broken foot and is expected to miss a few weeks.

  • Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reports that Rudolph could miss four-six weeks due to a broken foot, but his fracture is not of the Lisfranc variety.

Rudolph left during the Vikings Week 9 game against the Cowboys after catching a 31-yard touchdown reception, which included breaking three tackles on his way to the end-zone. Rudolph apparently suffered the injury during this play as his left foot was rolled up on.

Though Rudolph’s production has been inconsistent for the most part in 2013, he has managed to rack up 30 receptions on 44 total targets. Rudolph is currently second on the team in catches behind only Greg Jennings who has 31 receptions. John Carlson will fill in for Rudolph while he’s out.
