Vikings Trade Up To Select FSU RB Dalvin Cook

The Minnesota Vikings traded up to No. 41 overall with the Bengals to select Florida State RB Dalvin Cook.

Vikings receive:

2017 second-round pick (No. 41): Dalvin Cook

Bengals receive:

2017 second-round pick (No. 48)
2017 fourth-round pick (No. 128)

Cook, 21, is considered to be one of the best running back prospects in this year’s draft class. His combine performance was disappointing, but NFL teams seem to think his overall resume outweighs some of the concerns that arose from his workout in Indianapolis.

During his three years at Florida State, Cook appeared in 38 games and rushed for 4,464 yards on 687 carries (6.5 YPC) to go along with 79 receptions for 935 yards receiving and 48 total touchdowns.
