The Minnesota Vikings announced that they’ve placed QB Pat Devlin on waivers Thursday to make room for recently signed QB Mike Kafka.

Delvin, 26, signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Delaware back in 2011. He served as the Dolphins’ third-string quarterback last season, backing up Ryan Tannehill and Matt Moore.
The Vikings added Devlin to their practice squad last year before later signing him to a future/reserve contract. He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
