Eagles Sign S Harold Jones-Quartey To Practice Squad, Release DT Winston Craig

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Tuesday that they’ve signed S Harold Jones-Quartey to their practice squad and released DT Winston Craig from the unit.

The Eagles’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. C Josh Andrews
  2. TE Billy Brown
  3. DB De’Vante Bausby
  4. WR Greg Ward
  5. DB D.J. Killings
  6. S Tre Sullivan
  7. G Darrell Greene
  8. WR Bryce Treggs
  9. WR Rashard Davis
  10. S Harold Jones-Quartey

Jones-Quartey, 24, originally signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of back in May of 2015. He lasted just a few months in Arizona before he was waived and later claimed off of waivers by the Bears.

Chicago elected to cut Jones-Quartey loose coming out of the preseason and he eventually signed on to the Eagles’ practice squad. Philadelphia later placed him on the practice squad injured list before cutting him loose last month.

In 2016, Jones-Quartey appeared in all 16 games for the Bears and recorded 78 tackles, one interception and five pass defenses. Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 66 safety out 90 qualifying players last year.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
