Ravens Among Interested Teams In Free Agent CB Tramon Williams

Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Ravens are among the teams to show interest in Packers free agent CB Tramon Williams in recent days.

  • According to Wilson, Williams is believed to be seeking at least $5 million per year and possibly more in his next contract.
  • ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported over the weekend that the Browns were hosting Williams for a visit on Sunday.

Williams has met with the Seahawks, Browns, and Saints, with the Vikings and Eagles reportedly showing interest in him.

Recent reports have said that the Packers are open to bringing him back, but may not be willing to pay him more than $4 million per year.

Williams, 31, finished out his four-year contract worth $33 million with the Packers, which included $10,895,000 guaranteed and is, arguably, the best available cornerback right now.

In 2014, Williams appeared in all 16 games and recorded 71 tackles, three interceptions, a fumble recovery and 13 pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 34 cornerback out of 108 qualifying players.

We have Williams listed as the No. 51 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
