Texans Sign RB Kenny Hilliard To Practice Squad

The Houston Texans announced Tuesday that they’ve signed RB Kenny Hilliard to their practice squad.

The Texans’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. OL Chad Slade
  2. WR Quenton Bundrage (injured)
  3. LB Eric Lee
  4. LB Shakeel Rashad
  5. DE Ufomba Kamalu
  6. DE Dan Pettinato
  7. DB Denzel Rice
  8. TE Rashaun Allen
  9. WR Wendall Williams
  10. OT Jeff Adams
  11. RB Kenny Hilliard

Hilliard, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Texans back in May of last year. He was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was later signed to their practice squad at the start of the season.

The Texans elected to bring Hilliard back on a future/reserve contract this past January. However, he was once again among their final roster cuts.

Hillard has yet to appear in an NFL game.
