Raiders Worked Out 6 Players Including Safeties Stevie Brown & Chris Clemons

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Raiders worked out LB Emmanuel Acho, S Stevie Brown, S Chris Clemons, DB Chris Hackett, DE/OLB Adrian Hubbard, and LB Colton Underwood.

Brown, 28, is a former seventh-round pick of the Raiders back in 2010. After a little over a year in Oakland, Brown had bried stints with the Panthers and Colts before eventually signing on with the Giants in 2012.

Brown wound up testing the open market several months ago and eventually landing with the Texans on a one-year deal, but was unfortunately released at the start of the season. He later returned to the Giants, but was unfortunately among their final roster cuts.

In 2014, Brown appeared in all 16 games for the Giants last season and recorded 38 tackles, one sack, and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 47 safety out of 87 qualifying players.

Clemons, 30, is a former fifth-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2009. After five years in Miami, Clemons signed on with the Texans as an unrestricted free agent in March of last year.

The Cardinals elected to sign him to a two year, $2.7 million contract this past March, but wound up being placed on the injured reserve list and later being released with a settlement.

This year, Clemons has appeared in five games and recorded three tackles for Arizona.
