Buccaneers Sign 4 Players Futures Deal Including DT Cliff Matthews

The Buccaneers announced today that they have signed four players to futures contracts including: DT Davon Coleman, DT Cliff Matthews, DE Jermauria Rasco and WR Bernard Reedy.

Matthews, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Falcons back in 2011. He had finished out his rookie contract last year when he signed a two-year extension with the Falcons.

However, he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

In 2014, he appeared in seven games and totaled six tackles (four solo) on defense and adding three special teams tackles..

Coleman, 25, wound up signing on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona State back in May of last year. He later re-signed with the Cowboys in February and managed to make the team coming out of the preseason.

However, he was cut close to a month into the season before later signing to the Bears’ practice squad.

In 2015, Coleman appeared in two games, but didn’t record a single statistic.
