49ers Considering WR Braylon Edwards

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the San Francisco 49ers are bringing in WR Braylon Edwards for meeting later tonight.

San Francisco has said that they planned on bringing in another wide receiver to play opposite of Josh Morgan and Edwards happens to be the best available option. Michael Crabtree‘s recent injury leaves the 49ers with very limited depth at receiver which could lead to aggressive move more Edwards.

It’s unlikely that Edwards is going to get the deal that he’s looking for a so a one-year contract would make a good amount sense for both parties.
