Williams, 28, originally signed on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Connecticut back in May 2013. After two years in Washington, Williams caught on with the Falcons as a free agent in 2015 and managed to make the 53-man roster last year.
Williams was on and off of the Falcons’ practice squad before signing a contract with the Titans last year. He later joined the Rams for a short stint before the Broncos signed him to a contract a few months.
After being released by Denver, Williams joined the 49ers a few weeks ago, but was placed on injured reserve coming out of the preseason.
In 2018, Williams appeared in four games for the Rams and Titans, catching two passes for 17 yards and no touchdowns.
