The San Francisco 49ers announced Tuesday that they have signed OL Wesley Johnson to a one-year deal and waived TE Marcus Lucas.
Johnson, 28, is a former fifth-round pick of the Steelers back in 2014. He lasted just a few months in Pittsburgh before he was waived and later claimed by the Jets.
Johnson returned to the Jets last year before signing on with the Lions last year. Unfortunately, the Lions released Johnson coming out of the preseason and eventually caught on with the Dolphins during the season.
In 2010, Johnson appeared in 10 games for the Dolphins.
